No.1 Smithery - National Maritime Museum, Chatham

No. 1 Smithery is a purpose-built cultural venue for the exhibition of world class maritime collections.  Designed within a scheduled ancient monument it was necessary to respect existing fabric and structure of the building whilst constructing internal pods for the housing and display of artwork, using Metset pods finished with coloured renders and feature ceilings using acoustic sound boards.
